Its mission includes a broad focus on the healthy development of all children and youth in multiple community settings. The assumption is that, once a person is armed with the information gleaned from sermons, he or she will be transformed. How do we encourage genuine positive self-esteem in young people? One way is to provide unconditional positive acceptance, while encouraging an accurate appreciation of their special abilities and worth.
