In this article we explore eight different elements of effective prevention strategies that CAOs could adopt to discourage risky behaviour in basfd people. However, despite advances in this area, many communities continue to invest in prevention strategies of unproven effectiveness. The assumption is that, once a person is armed with the information gleaned from sermons, he or she will be transformed.
