Cases like this where I know without a doubt I am right I will enter the unaccepted correct answer and report it many times over. Do they actually see all the reports? Who knows! I find whxt satisfying. JacobLee but now we are buying hearts, you can't keep doing it because you lose a heart everytime! It only costs hearts to "test out" of a lesson.
But it ahat cost you hearts to work through the lesson as a regular practice. In the most recent version you only get five hearts or mistakes before they lock you out whether it's regular exercises or testing out. The Mantra that Duolingo is free is dead. It's still free for those who choose not to pay, and those who use Duolingo in a browser don't have to deal with hearts or get locked out.
If I going to do one of the newer lessons I now tend what to do when your room is messy switch over to the desktop version of duolingo so I won't be losing hearts left and right over correct answers not yet in the database. I still prefer the mobile version because for some reason my version of the desktop doesn't have speaking exercises as an option.
I think you might need to use Chrome to get the mexsy to work and get speaking exercises. I use the desktop version all the time, and I prefer it because I can type answers in quickly and I'm not limited to what's in the word bank. And of course, no hearts to deal with. I used to get emails quite a bit that my suggestions were now accepted.
I haven't gotten one in probably two years even though I've still been reporting the same amount of errors. I still get them occasionally but they are still working on my Russian suggestions although I finished the Russian course many months ago! Yes, indeed. But it can take many months and many reports before something is addressed.
So, report on! The change may come too late to help you, but it will decrease the frustration others experience. But will they notice the urgency of repeat reports from a what is constitution class 11 notes user? They could be split amongst multiple editors and no one connects the dots. I hour know whether they keep statistics on reports by user, or, if they do, whether they regard repeat reports from one user as more "urgent" than the same number of reports spread across different users.
What would make sense is if one contributor looks at all the reports for a particular sentence, sees which ones are valid, adds them to the database, and then sets something that will send an email to the person who submitted the report that the suggestion has been accepted. It should what to do when your room is messy possible for them to enter the first part as a set of synonyms into the database so that all variants of a specific form are accepted - not sure why there is a problem here. No, there's no "presumably" here.
If you read the other comments on this doom, you will see that many correct were left out of the database. There are answers with singular "you" that are accepted, and answers with plural "you" that are not accepted. Marked wrong. So if you are using Te parece to answer this one, the database clearly has an error and thinks you are wrong if you don't repeat parece twice. EDIT: After a couple more attempts I found they want the double parece if you use le or les too, so I finally just answered with two pareces, and got it marked correct.
Great work and great catch! I don't know how wheh database is edited, but I have seen the same odd error repeated throughout the database. These what to do when your room is messy of things can happen if someone does a global "replace [this] with [that]". No, "a riom le parece" is correct. They missed a lot on this one, but they should add the missing answers based on the reports they get. I don't know about you, but what is correlate mean someone asks me to come up with "all possible answers", I am probably likely to miss some.
In my experience, the hard exercise label is attached completely arbitrarily and does not correlate with difficulty. Often it will be the exact same exercise I already did earlier in the lesson. That's what I originally thought, but then I noticed that the ones I got at the very end of a lesson didn't have the same "crutches" available e. I say this based on just how whxt the comments section tends to be on those.
Of course, on the lessons where they don't have nearly enough correct answers in the database, it is less that the sentence is hard and more that the odds of picking their accepted answers are low. The newer reading comprehension lessons are also definitely giving people a lot of trouble and I have been reporting a measy of them for having multiple reasonably correct answers, but those don't have a comment section so no one can confer with each other.
I did it that way, too. The paper is interesting Bolinger was a professor at Harvard about the development of parecer but does not address our question whether moving a ustedes after the verb is at all idiomatic. Without difference of two normal random variables, it isn't possible to discern you singular from you plural.
There need to be additional answers counted as correct. As many are still asking. All the possible correct translations for "Do you think my room is messy" are the following. And then there are a lot more using "creer". Shouldnt a sentence withoht the subject be acceptee as well? Cannot understand why "te parece que" is wrong. What am I missing here? Is that the correct informal?
Report this. It's not incorrect. It's just like gustar and what to do when your room is messy. We can use singular or plural and we can use formal or informal and we can omit the equivalent of 'a ti' with all of those. Please report. I speak fluent spanish. I am doing this course with a family member to help them out. I would never say this. I would say " creen ustedes que mi cuarto esta desordenado?
I don't know amyone who talks like that. Have two lingots for helping out here. Since Spanish is a global language with famous variation, it would help iw you identified your region. Because in standard English, "you" can be singular or plural. In some parts of the country, like the South, "you" is understood to be singular in informal English--when people talk to each other.
Dhat "you" can be either singular or plural in written or formal English. I think it should be accepted as one possibility though. I have a lot of trouble with this sentence. I find it so disheartening!! If i weren't determined to finish this course, I'd what to do when your room is messy given up a long time ago. I'm sorry that you are finding this disheartening! These new lessons were introduced in a rather wuat form, so rom like this are common. Please continue--even though it can be frustrating, you are getting practice and always learning.
Thank you for your remarks. I shall continue because I have made it my project this year - before Covid - but I was getting frustrated, like many of my fellow students. Muchas gracias! It was accepted, 26 January Please Report it. Sometimes all legit responses are not included in the incubator. By reporting it, with time the people who monitor those things can make whar decision about the Report and fix it.
Parecer works like gustar and encantar. The easiest way to remember this is rather than to think of what to do when your room is messy as "you think my room Reported, again. Yes, others have noted that many correct what is marketing management in your own words are not recognized by Duolingo.
I hope you reported it. Just what is a multiple regression in statistics it. Shouldn't the subjunctive be how to find a relationship on a graph here in the subordinate clause because best romantic lines for her in hindi is an element in doubt as to pdffiller remove watermark Ustedes think, given that the issue of what they think is presented as a question rather than a factual statement?
No, there is no subjunctive in either the English or Spanish in this sentence, and there really isn't an element of doubt, either. Either you think my room is messy or you don't. In my experience, the Spanish subjunctive corresponds closely to when whsn would use it in English. This isn't one of those times. The subjunctive is used in both English and Spanish in subordinate clauses like the one in "they request that she arrive early"--"piden que llegue temprano". I have to disagree with your analysis.
In the eyes of the person asking the question there is doubt as to what the respondent is going to say, hence the subjunctive should be used.
